The Occupational Medicine Center focuses on health, wellness and the
prevention of injuries in the workplace. When a worker is injured on the
job, the OccMed staff will develop an individualized treatment program to
assist the worker in returning to his/her maximum functional capacity,
helping them return to work more quickly.
The center not only offers clinical testing and rehabilitation services, but also provides a comprehensive range of employee wellness and training programs. Topics like drug and alcohol awareness, body mechanics, CPR, first aid, and OSHA compliance can be integrated into training programs and tailored to meet specific company requirements for employee health and safety.
Employers can send their workers to the Occupational Medicine Center for all their occupational injury and health needs. In addition to offering clinical examinations, the Occupational Medicine Center has many services that are geared toward creating healthy, injury-free workplaces for business clients. The center also maintains a library of instructional videos on topics such as electrical safety, confined space entry, and carpal tunnel syndrome prevention. The Occupational Medicine Center is located in University Shopping Center on the Eastern By-Pass.
