Equipped with modern technology, Pattie A Clay Emergency Department is ready to respond to the emergency medical needs of Madison and the surrounding counties.

We treat more than 29,000 medical emergencies a year and can boast of an average door to health care provider time being 17 minutes or less.

Our emergency department is staffed with emergency board-certified physicians and nursing staff that are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and the Trauma Nurse Core Course.

Our staff is trained to care for patients that present with a full range of medical illness, minor illnesses as well as life threatening problems. The staff is also trained in Disaster preparedness such as Bluegrass Army Depot injuries. Our ED is equipped with a built–in Decon Room and outside facility to care for large numbers of patients that need Decon.

  • any information you have about allergies or medical conditions the medical staff should be aware of when treating you.
