We know being a patient or family member visiting the ICU/CCU can be a stressful time. Let us tell you a little about our unit.
The ICU/CCU is an area designed for critically or seriously ill adult patients who are unable to communicate their needs or for which deliberate planned observation and highly skilled medical, nursing, and clinical support services are required.
Located on the 3rd floor our Intensive/Coronary Care Unit is an eight bed unit. We are proud to say that our unit is staffed with one Registered Nurse for every two patients. Rounding out our staff are support personnel such as our Monitor Technicians. They are here to assist you and the nurses in providing the best care possible.
Our staff completes comprehensive training in various aspects of Intensive/Coronary Care Nursing and each year attends various classes to update those skills.
During your stay with us, please feel free to ask questions if you need assistance in any way.
