Pattie A. Clay Auxiliary (PACA) was established in the early 1960's to help the hospital with various community projects. The most famous and enduring of the PACA projects has been the annual Charity Ball. The Charity Ball, in 33 years, raised over $600,000 for equipment purchases and renovations at the hospital. This year the Ball raised $80,000 (the most ever) to be used toward the 'Movin on Up campaign to renovate 3rd and 4th floors of the hospital.
Other PACA projects include managing the Pattie A. Clay Gift Shop; providing toys and activity books for children who have to stay in the hospital and providing gifts for the first baby of the new year.
The 2006-2007 President is Diane Gibson.
The 2007 Charity Ball Co-Chairs are Billy Kelly and Debbie Crafton
Membership dues for PACA are $15 for individuals and $25 for couples. Members are encouraged to get involved in the activities of PACA, and there are many opportunities to serve. For more information:.
