It is becoming popular for friends, associates and family members to remember a loved one through a memorial gift to Pattie A. Clay Foundation. The tradition of sending flowers in memory of a departed friend or loved one is giving way to a new tradition of giving a donation to Pattie A. Clay Foundation in their honor. For those who have benefited from hospital services during their life time, it is a fitting tribute which also affirms the importance of quality health care.
One donor summed up the philosophy of memorial giving like this, "Daddy was always interested in the hospital and recognized that having a good health care system is vital to having a vibrant community. He supported the hospital throughout his life. We thought it was appropriate to honor that support after his death.”
