seventh annual Pro-Am Classic golf tournament.
The tournament raises funds for the Pattie A. Clay Foundation and is an
opportunity for golfers to enjoy some of
the finest golf in the state while supporting a good
cause.
The Pro-Am Classic Golf Tournament is Richmond’s premier golf event. The tournament is like none other in the state, and each year attracts Kentucky’s top professional golfers and amateur players.
Teams include one professional golfer and three amateurs, chosen by the tournament sponsors. Amateurs have the opportunity to learn golf techniques from some of Kentucky’s best professional golfers as they play a challenging round of golf. The amateurs compete for team and individual honors, while the pros play for more than $15,000 in prize money, the largest single day purse in Kentucky.
The format of the tournament is “Best Two Balls” where the two best balls of each foursome are counted toward the team’s final score.
