Charles Earl Baldwin has been selected to serve on the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center Board of Directors.  Baldwin is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a baccalaureate of science degree and a masters of business administration.  He began working at EKU in 1968 as and accountant and was soon promoted to internal auditor.  From 1972 until 1980 he held the position of controller of the university and in 1980 he was named vice president for business affairs and treasurer.  At the same time he was the treasurer for the EKU Foundation and Arlington Association.

Baldwin retired from the university in 1999 and has since been busy with family and community service.  He is a member of the Pattie A. Clay Foundation Board; the Madison County Fair Board; Madison County Extension Board and the board of First Southern National Bank.  He also serves on the board of directors for the YMCA and the Madison County Retired Teachers Association.
