William M. Walters, President and CEO of Madison Bank, has been elected to the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center Board of Directors.

Walters is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is well known in the Richmond community as an innovative leader.  

Since 1999 he has served as chairman of Pattie A. Clay Foundation working diligently to raise money for the hospital. He is a director, treasurer and co-founder of Kentucky Advocates for Higher Education; director and co-founder of the Richmond Industrial Corporation; director and co-founder of Bankers Title of Central Kentucky; director for the Kentucky Baptist Foundation and past director of the ABA Education Foundation. Walters has served as president of the EKU Alumni Association and in 1995 received the EKU Outstanding Alumnus Award.
